Hi, my name is Ceri Wallace from Kiddie Cooks and on behalf of Kids and Cooking.co.uk I am going to show you how to make Pea Soup.

Firstly you take some spring onions and ask the children to cut them up in to small pieces and gently soften them in a pan, and then you put 300g of peas in the pan as well along with 750ml of vegetable stock and then bring it to the boil, cooking it for around 3-4 minutes. Add your mint to it as well. Heat it all through and then take the contents out of the pan in to a blender and then whiz until it is all completely smooth. Take it out of the blender and put it in some containers or a soup dish, then stir in some crème fresh. It's very easy to do.

Cook the onions gently over a low heat for about 5 minutes until the onions are soft, once they are add the chopped mint and the peas, and the stock, bring to the boil and cook for about 3 minutes until the peas are cooked through.

Blend the mixture and spoon in the crème fresh. It's a nice thick soup!
